Finding the balance

Brand identity, website design and development for Yoga HR

HR training is important stuff. But that doesn't mean it has to feel like homework. Yoga HR helps businesses deliver engaging employee training, covering everything from workplace compliance to skills and knowledge development. Our job was to give the business a brand and website that reflected a more flexible, human approach to learning.

A brand that bends the rules

We started by creating a new logo and visual identity for Yoga HR, developing a brand that felt professional enough for the corporate world without falling into the usual sea of sensible fonts and stock photography.

We also sourced an illustration style to bring the identity to life, giving the brand a more distinctive and approachable feel. The result was a visual language that could communicate serious subjects without taking itself too seriously.

Less corporate. More character.

With the identity in place, we brought the website to life with a custom WordPress design and a healthy dose of copywriting personality.

Rather than relying on the usual corporate jargon, we worked to make the content clearer, more engaging and easier to connect with. Because when you're asking people to spend time learning, how you communicate matters just as much as what you're communicating.

More than a pretty front end

Behind the scenes, there was more to consider than what visitors see on screen. We redesigned the backend user system, mapping out an approach that could be developed externally and work alongside the wider website experience.

The aim was to make the journey from discovering Yoga HR to accessing its training as straightforward as possible, bringing the public-facing website and user experience together into a more considered whole.

Built to keep growing

A website shouldn't need a designer on standby every time there's something new to say. We created blog templates and practical content guides to help the Yoga HR team publish their own monthly articles, keeping the site fresh and relevant without adding unnecessary complexity to their workflow.

It's a small but important part of building a website that works beyond launch day — giving the people who know the business best the tools and confidence to keep it moving.

The result

A distinctive brand identity, a custom WordPress website and a more considered digital experience for a business helping organisations make learning count.

Professional where it needs to be, personable where it matters, and flexible enough to grow with the business.
